In a ground-breaking move in English sport, Wasps have created a netball team which will compete in the expanded Vitality Netball Superleague from 2017, playing their home fixtures in the Ericsson Indoor Arena situated within the Ricoh Arena.
Wasps Netball is not only designed to be a force in the national game, but also to increase Wasps community programme which engaged with more than 50,000 youngsters across the region last year.
If you're a fan of cricket, Edgbaston Cricket Ground is a name you'll have heard many times over. As one of England's most famous sporting venues, it has hosted Test Match cricket for over 100 years, including the famous Ashes in 2005 which is still regarded as the 'Greatest Test'.
It is also the stadium with the least disruption by rain compared to any other UK cricket ground, which is great news for anyone looking to attend the 40 days of domestic cricket each summer!

Warwickshire County Cricket Club
Know more affectionately as The Bears, Warwickshire County Cricket Club is regarded as a top-flight team, having played first-class cricket since the 1890s.
Founded on 8th April 1882, the club has a glamorous history winning the county championship on more than one occasion including a historic treble in 1994, and has been home to some of the world’s best players including cricketing great Brian Lara.
Plying their trade at Edgbaston Cricket Ground and captained by England batsman Ian Bell, the club is well equipped to continue fighting for success in competitive county cricket.
The Aegon Classic Birmingham returns to the city each year, with the biggest stars of tennis from the world over.
It marks the beginning of the summer tennis season at the Edgbaston Priory Club, just outside the city, and is one of the most high profile tennis events of the sporting calender.
For those who want to grab a racket and join in, The Edgbaston Priory Club boasts 32 tennis courts with varying surfaces for players to experience. There are also courts in Cannon Hill Park and over 30 tennis clubs in the Birmingham area to join.
